WLC - Program

Dates and Location

The 2019 World Leadership Congress (WLC) will take place July 20 – 27, 2019 at Loyola University Chicago’s Lakeshore Campus, overlooking Lake Michigan.

What you can expect:

When you attend the World Leadership Congress, you can expect to:

  • Develop your leadership skills
  • Explore what it means to be a global citizen in today’s world
  • Meet other amazing students from around the US and the world
  • Identify your personal values and goals
  • Participate in Community Service Projects
  • Interact with today’s leaders from a variety of fields
  • Collaborate with other students on team challenges
  • Build a global network of students, volunteers and leaders
  • Discover how you can make a positive impact on the world

 

Earn College Credits (optional)

HOBY is proud to partner with nationally-ranked George Mason University (GMU) to offer two (2) transferrable college credits for participants in the World Leadership Congress.

At the conclusion of the WLC, the ambassadors demonstrated leadership skills and program submissions will be evaluated, and two (2) pass/fail credits as part of GMU’s Special Topics in Leadership course will be awarded for successfully completing and submitting all WLC program requirements.

Please Note: This is an optional element for Ambassadors. There is an additional tuition cost of $200.00. This fee is established by George Mason University and will be forwarded directly to George Mason University by HOBY with proof of student’s successful completion of the program.
